XMU at Sea
Initiated and organized by XMU Faculty of Earth Science and Technology (FEST), the training cruise for undergraduate students on R/V TKK, the “XMU at Sea” program, aims to train top-talent undergraduates with international perspective and critical skills and experience in ocean science.

The annual “XMU@Sea” Cruise set sail again on July 12. 102 undergraduates and teachers from diverse cultural backgrounds embarked on three distinct expeditions aboard RV TKK,engaging in various research and training tasks. These included measuring chemical parameters in the seawater, learning to use the oceanographic and meteorological observation instruments...

On August 11, the fourth “XMU at Sea” Undergraduate Training Cruise was accomplished onboard RV TKK. To date, up to 250 undergraduates have participated in the program, obtaining valuable opportunities to practice at sea.
